The 8th BRICS International School took place in Moscow on 1–3 October. The 8th BRICS International School.
Программа проводится с 2017 г. на ежегодной основе при консультационной поддержке МИД России. В 2024 г. Школа была организована Экспертным советом БРИКС – Россия и Национальным комитетом по исследованию БРИКС в партнерстве с Фондом Горчакова и МГИМО МИД России в рамках государственной программы поддержки университетов «Приоритет 2030».
Representatives of the Institute of Africa of the Russian Academy of Sciences were invited as experts to the international school: Head of Center for the Study of BRICS African Strategy D. Zelenova and Senior Researcher V. Sidorov have prepared a lecture on the topic "Africa and BRICS: Opportunities and Challenges for Enlargement".
As an attendee of the international school from the Institute of African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences was represented by Junior Researcher of Center for the Study of BRICS African Strategy T. Andreeva
The participants from around the world attended lectures, master classes conducted by Russian experts and had the opportunity to personally ask questions about the role of BRICS in a changing world to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
