Maxim Grishenkin, a Junior Research Fellow at the BRICS African Strategy Studies Center, took part in the Fourth BRICS Summer School, held from 1 to 3 September in Johannesburg, South Africa. As part of the programme, he served as head of the South African delegation during a BRICS simulation session.
The simulated negotiations focused on deepening trade and economic cooperation and shifting to settlements in national currencies. The event brought together young activists and experts from BRICS countries, as well as participants from several other states.
